This was a rather lazily done image created in the application Garry's Mod, and post-processed in GIMP 2.2. The overall image (posing in Garry's Mod and post-processing) was almost one hour, mostly for anti-aliasing.
In this image, you see two S.A.S. operatives (a buddy-team leader and his wingman) after they have dynamically stormed a room with a flashbang and cleared their fire superiority. The smoke residue of the flashbang is visible around the operatives.
You may be asking yourself why one operative has a tinted visor, and the other does not. The SF-10 gas-masks they are wearing originally have a plastic cover that goes around the eye ports, but the large gap allows for a tinted cover to be placed on to protect the operative visually in case they encounter a flashbang for the like. They work like sunglasses.
Both soldiers are armed with Heckler and Koch MP5A3 submachine guns, a knife, and Sig sauer P226 pistols. The wingman (the soldier on the right) also has a Mossberg 590 shotgun armed with plastic slugs for breaching purposes, however, it is not visible in the image.
I was contemplating on adding three-point slings for the MP5s, and one visible sling for the shotgun, but I'm a lazy guy so I never got around to it.
